My name is Tim Thuijs and I am the founder of Medical Devices Recruitment. I am a recruiter with nine years of experience, of which six years in the medical devices industry.
After finishing by bachelor degree in Utrecht and a trip through Australia, I started my recruitment career at SIRE Life Sciences in Amsterdam. This is where I built the fundament for my passion for recruitment and predilection for the medical devices industry. Because I felt it was important to also gain experience as a recruiter outside the medical devices industry, I switched to Finnt, an Amsterdam recruitment agency that focuses on the finance market. After nearly three years of successful mediations within the relatively generic and large finance market, I realized that I prefer to mediate specialists in the relatively small and highly regulated medical devices industry. As a small boy I had the dream of becoming an entrepreneur one day, so I decided to establish the company: Medical Devices Recruitment.
I am convinced that Medical Devices Recruitment, through my experience and qualities, can add value to the medical devices industry. Characteristics such as perseverance, customer focus, ambition and solution-orientation are of paramount importance to me. I prefer open and clear communication, I am straightforward, open to criticism and have good organizational skills.
